Raised by Latino parents with Colombian and El Salvadorian roots, Fernando's early life was marked by success in football and wrestling across Hudson and Bergen county. However, a series of setbacks, including being expelled from high school and struggling with alcohol and drug issues, led him down a dark path.

His life took a harrowing turn while working security in Portland, Oregon, where he survived a shooting that left him with multiple bullet wounds. Weighing 310 pounds at his lowest, Fernando has transformed his life, dropping weight and rising to fight in the Light Heavyweight division. His dedication earned him a Super Fight Heavyweight title and reignited his pursuit for greatness.

Now focused on sobriety, family, and faith, Fernando aims to capture the Light Heavyweight and 185lb world titles for King of The Cage. His story is a testament to overcoming adversity, and he is driven by a fierce determination to become a champion.
