Evan Yant is a rising NCAA wrestling athlete who competes for the University of Northern Iowa. As a redshirt freshman, Yant won the Daktronics Open and took second at the Cyclone Open. Prior to his collegiate career, he was a three-time Iowa state medalist and a 2020 Class 3A state champion. With an overall record of 157-36, Yant helped lead Waverly-Shell Rock to two state team titles. He is majoring in movement and exercise science/strength and conditioning.
