Ephraim Dotson is a redshirt freshman cornerback for the Rice University Owls football team. Dotson hails from Missouri City, Texas, and is an alumnus of Hightower High School. During his high school career, he earned two All-District 20-6A selections and contributed to the Hurricanes’ impressive 12-2 record and area championship in his senior year. Dotson showcased his defensive prowess with 19 pass breakups and two interceptions as a senior, totaling nine interceptions and 43 breakups over his high school tenure. In addition to football, he was a three-year letterman in track, contributing to Hightower’s regional champion 4x400 relay team. Off the field, Dotson was recognized as a two-time Academic All-District honoree and served on the Student Council Senior Committee.
