Duan Asemota is a Canadian sprinter specializing in the 100 meters, known for his exceptional speed and competitive spirit. Born in Montreal and raised in Ajax, Ontario, Asemota has made significant strides in athletics. He achieved a personal best of 10.03 seconds in the 100m at the Bob Vigars Classic in London, Ontario, in May 2024, positioning him among Canada's top sprinters. Asemota's athletic journey includes competing for Ohio State University, where he earned All-American honors in the relay events. In 2019, he finished fourth in the 100 meters at the World University Games, showcasing his talent on the international stage. In July 2024, Asemota was named to Canada's Olympic team for the Paris 2024 Games, competing in both the 100 meters and the 4x100m relay.
