David Marquez, a Walla Walla native, is an accomplished Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu brown belt competitor and instructor at 100 Kilos Jiu-Jitsu. A decorated wrestler in his high school years, David earned All-State honors in Washington State. Following a decade of coaching high school and youth wrestling, he transitioned to Jiu-Jitsu competition and instruction. David's impressive Jiu-Jitsu record includes numerous local and IBJJF tournament titles across the Northwest. Notably, he secured bronze at the 2021 IBJJF Master Worlds as a blue belt and remained undefeated as a purple belt. Since 2021, David has spearheaded 100 Kilos Jiu-Jitsu's pioneering kids' program in Walla Walla, introducing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to the area's youth.
