Born and raised in Southern Ontario, Daniel Notarianni has been immersed in fishing for more than two decades, evolving from a young fly tier and fly fisher into a seasoned multi-species angler. In 2012, he founded Live 2 Fish, a platform where his skills as a guide, writer, and educator converge to share knowledge and inspire anglers of all levels. Daniel’s passion for the sport has taken him across North America—from chasing bass and trout close to home, to targeting peacock bass in Florida, snook in the surf, and trophy pike in the North. Along the way, he has steadily built a strong network within the fishing industry, connecting with fellow anglers, brands, and conservation advocates who share his dedication to the water.

In addition to his guiding and educational work, Daniel runs the River & Fly Fishing Area at the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show, helping to grow its reach and influence in the angling community. His formal education in digital imaging and photography, combined with his expertise in video production, allows him to tell compelling fishing stories through vivid imagery and film—whether capturing the subtleties of a fly drift or the explosive strike of a topwater hit. Daniel’s approachable style, deep knowledge, and creative storytelling make him a trusted voice in Canadian angling, committed to helping others find success and joy on the water.
