Title: “Even in the Dark, There is Joy” - with Veteran and Gold Medalist Bradley Snyder
Description:
Veteran and Paralympic Gold Medalist Bradley Snyder shares his inspiring story with host and veteran NFL agent Craig Domann. Bradley graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 2006 and spent 7 years in Iraq and Afghanistan as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Officer. On September 7, 2011, his life took a pivot. Brad stepped on an IED and suffered an injury causing him to permanently lose his vision. Instead of thinking “Why did this happen to me” Brad continued with life because he got the gift of life. Within a year he earned a spot on Team USA Paralympic Team and swam to his first of six gold medals, the first American male to do so in the Olympics or Paralympics.
When Brad isn’t earning medals he spends most of his time with his wife and 2-year-old daughter or working towards his Ph.D. in Public Policy. With that Ph.D. Brad hopes to become a professor of ethical leadership. Brad is also an athlete representative on the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s Board of Directors and is the advisory board Vice-chair for the Navy Special Operations Foundation.
