Canelo Álvarez in action, one of boxing's best fighters

Canelo Álvarez is a Mexican professional boxer widely regarded as one of the best fighters of his generation. Born July 18, 1990, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, Canelo became a professional at just 15 years old and went on to win world championships in four weight classes: light middleweight, middleweight, super middleweight, and light heavyweight. Known for his powerful counterpunching, body shots, head movement, and strong defense, he has defeated elite fighters such as Miguel Cotto, Gennady Golovkin, Sergey Kovalev, and Caleb Plant. His rivalry with Golovkin, particularly their closely contested trilogy, became one of the biggest storylines in modern boxing. Canelo has also become one of boxing’s biggest stars and highest-profile athletes, representing Mexico on the international stage while building a legacy as a multiple-division world champion.
