THE DUO THAT TERRORIZED COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS GETTING A SECOND CHANCE IN THE NFL. If you watched Ohio State in 2022, you already know how dangerous these two were together. CJ Stroud dropping back, Marvin Harrison Jr. finding space downfield, and another Buckeyes touchdown waiting to happen. It almost felt automatic. During their final season together at Ohio State, Harrison finished with 77 receptions, 1,263 receiving yards, and 14 touchdowns, while Stroud threw for 3,688 yards and 41 touchdowns. Those two helped lead Ohio State to the College Football Playoff, where the Buckeyes came within one point of knocking off eventual national champion Georgia. Then their paths separated. Stroud became the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, landing with Houston. Harrison followed a year later, going No. 4 overall to Arizona. And now, three years after their last college game together, they’re officially teammates again. THE HOUSTON TEXANS HAVE ACQUIRED MARVIN HARRISON JR. FROM THE ARIZONA CARDINALS. Houston is sending a 2027 second-round pick and sixth-round pick to Arizona in exchange for Harrison and a 2027 seventh-round selection. For Harrison, it’s a fresh start after a frustrating beginning to his third NFL season. Through four games in 2026, he had just 5 catches for 85 yards and one touchdown. But now he gets to catch passes from the quarterback who helped turn him into one of the most feared receivers in college football. And with Nico Collins already in Houston, the Texans suddenly have a very interesting receiving duo.
