Annette J Wolf

I am Annette Wolf, and my name has become synonymous with excellence in equestrian sports. From a young age, I knew I was destined to ride. My journey, from a little girl who preferred riding to walking, to an international top athlete, is one of passion, determination, and boundless ambition. This is the story of my remarkable career, my 20-year experience as an international model, and the steps I took after retiring from the sport in 2023. My love for horses began when I was very young. Together with my father and a quartet of ponies, I traveled across the Netherlands, where, at just 12 years old, I began to express my love for equestrian sport. It quickly became clear that I was not just an ordinary rider; my talent and passion for the sport were undeniable. After transitioning from pony to horse, my talent did not go unnoticed. I was selected for the talent plan and soon began winning awards. My careful training and coaching methods allowed me to bring many horses to a higher level as a junior. I was determined and knew no limits; my versatility and energetic character drove me to pursue my dreams. I worked for international stables, and at the age of 20, I chose to become self-employed, participating in international competitions occasionally. My hard work and dedication were rewarded with numerous successes. Between 2016 and 2018, I achieved several top-five international rankings. At the end of 2017, I won the qualification in Brussels and finished third in the Grand Prix. In July 2018, I won my first 1.50m event and placed fifth in the Grand Prix at CSI Waregem in September. Alongside my equestrian career, I also embarked on a successful journey as an international model. For 20 years, I traveled the world, working with renowned brands and designers. This experience enriched my life and gave me the opportunity to explore new dimensions of creativity and self-expression. Today, I am exclusively represented by an agency in Berlin, where I continue to work on select projects. After a brilliant career in equestrian sports, I decided in 2023 that it was time to retire from the sport. The decision to stop was not an easy one, but I felt it was the right moment. My years of dedication, highs and lows, and countless victories formed a career that I am proud of. After retiring from competitive sport, I have channeled my experiences and lessons from equestrianism into new challenges and passions. I found new goals and continued to express my love for horses in other ways. My story remains a source of inspiration for many, both within and outside the equestrian world.
