Alana "The Alanamal" Cook (3-1-0) is a Pro MMA Fighter out of St. Catharines, Ontario, and the #4 ranked Women's Pound for Pound Fighter in Canada. A Michif (Métis) woman from the Desjarlais family, Alana is proud of her Indigenous heritage and is grateful to use martial arts as a platform to draw attention to MMIWG and other Indigenous-led causes. Alana is also the founder of Walking Like Warriors Self-Defence, a PhD Student in Kinesiology, and a corgi lover.
