Amateur MMA and kickboxing championships on the line April 25 at Putnam County Convention Center
Afghan-Born Nashville Fighter Headlines Four-Title Card as AGOGE Fight League Returns to Cookeville
MILLIONS
April 17, 2026
AGOGE Fight League returns to Cookeville for its twelfth event on Saturday, April 25, with four amateur championship bouts across mixed martial arts and kickboxing, and an active UFC fighter calling the action from the commentary desk.
The main event features Aftekhar Khesrawe, an Afghan-born fighter now based in Nashville, putting a perfect 6-0 amateur record on the line against Kiyren McKee of Missouri, who trains out of Wolves' Den Training Center. The two meet for the 145-pound amateur MMA title.
Khesrawe's story travels beyond sports. Born in Afghanistan and now representing Nashville MMA in Middle Tennessee, he has gone undefeated across six amateur bouts. McKee brings a different pedigree, a seasoned regional competitor backed by one of Missouri's most respected fight gyms.
In the co-main event, current 145- and 155-pound kickboxing champion Vincent Escobedo moves up in weight to challenge reigning 170-pound champion Tayler Phanyoraj for the 155-pound kickboxing belt. It is a rare crossroads fight between two active champions converging at a weight class neither currently holds.
Also on the card, Cookeville's own Izaiah Scott fights in front of his home crowd against William Aldridge for the 135-pound kickboxing title. And unbeaten amateur Chase Boley, 4-0, steps up against Matt Cecilio in a 125-pound kickboxing title bout.
Calling the main card will be active UFC fighter Trevor Peek, who steps into the commentary role for the evening.
"This card is exactly what AGOGE was built for," said promoter Chuck Farmer. "Four titles, hometown fighters, and athletes from across the country coming to Cookeville to compete at the highest amateur level. Aftekhar's story alone is worth the trip, and Izaiah Scott fighting for a belt in front of his own people is something special."
"We're proud to bring this level of competition back to Putnam County," added promoter Steve Modlin. "The talent on this card speaks for itself."
AGOGE Fight League XII takes place Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Putnam County Convention Center in Cookeville, Tennessee. First bout at 2:00pm CT.
