One of Michigan's fastest-growing regional fight promotions returns to the Upper Peninsula on May 30 when 2 Piece Promotions hosts its ninth event at Kewadin Casino in Sault Ste. Marie. 2 Piece Promotions has built a following across Michigan by running consistent, well-matched cards that develop fighters from the amateur ranks into the professional circuit. Nine events in, the promotion has become a reliable pipeline for homegrown talent. 2 Piece Promotions IX brings that formula north. The main event features an all-Northern-Michigan matchup: Brendan Baker of Petoskey makes his professional debut at 170 pounds against Austin Limberger of Gaylord. Two fighters from small communities roughly 130 miles apart, meeting in the UP for the biggest fight of either of their careers so far. The full card includes additional amateur and professional bouts across multiple weight classes.
