Taiya Shelby is a professional track and field athlete for Under Armour specializing in the 800 and 400. She graduated from Vanderbilt University as a NCAA All-American, school records holder, NCAA Woman of the year nominee, USTFCCCA All-Academic Team, Dean’s List and the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Taiya is the Co-Founder of the Black Student Athlete Group at Vanderbilt as well. In her free time, Taiya enjoys hair braiding, binge watching, cooking, dancing & creating content, and many arts & crafts. She also stays active in her community as coach and mentor for youth in Baltimore.
