Mike Bass is a legendary figure in the world of American football. Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, he went on to become a standout player at the University of Michigan before embarking on a successful 10-year career in the NFL.

Bass spent the majority of his career with the Washington Redskins, where he established himself as one of the top defensive players in the league. With his exceptional ball-hawking skills and intelligent play, Bass recorded a total of 30 interceptions and limited opposing receivers to only 8 touchdown passes over the course of his career.

Bass's durability was also noteworthy, as he played in an impressive 104 consecutive games, a testament to his toughness and commitment to the sport. He also made his mark on the NFL's biggest stage, scoring a touchdown in the 1972 Super Bowl against the Miami Dolphins.
