Mia Fishel

Mia Renee Fishel was born in San Diego, California. She loves to fish and relax with her French Bulldog named Chido. While at UCLA, Mia picked up the nickname BIG FISH due to her competitiveness on the soccer field and her passion for sportfishing.

Mia played three seasons at UCLA scoring 32 goals with 14 assists in 59 games played. She was selected 5th overall by the Orlando Pride in the 2022 NWSL draft. However, instead of joining NWSL, Mia took her talents to the Mexican Liga MX and joined Tigres UANL. Mia made her Liga MX debut on January 31, 2022. Mia went on to score 17 goals in 17 appearances during the 2022 season. This astounding achievement resulted in Mia becoming the first foreign player to win the LIGA MX Femenil Championship for the 2022 season.

Furthermore, Mia Fishel recognized by the International Federation of Football, History, and Statistics (IFFHS) as the best scorer in the world in 2022 with 33 goals. Mia also holds the all-age United States national record of 13 goals for any U.S. Youth National team player.
