Carlos Ulberg is a New Zealand MMA athlete who competes in the Light Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Ulberg started playing rugby league as a child, later becoming a Counties-Manukau representative. He made his MMA debut in 2011 securing a second-round knockout in his first professional fight thereafter Pursuing his boxing/kickboxing career. In November 2020, he earned himself a UFC contract via a first-round knockout over Bruno Oliveira at Dana White's Contender Series 34. Ulberg won the Fight of the Night award after his UFC debut fight against Kennedy Nzechukwu in March 2021 and is now on a 4 fight win streak on the biggest martial arts stage.
