Aidan Emmerich is a talented golfer who made waves in the 2022 U.S. Junior Amateur tournament, shooting a 2-under par 141 during stroke play and advancing to the Round of 32 in match play. Prior to attending Michigan State University, Emmerich was a six-year standout on the golf team at St. Mary's High School, where he helped lead the team to four conference championships and three state championship titles. Emmerich was an All-Boston Globe and Boston Herald selection all four years of high school, and was a two-time qualifier for the U.S. Junior Amateur. He also set a conference championship record with an 8-under par 61.
